Who we are

Mr. Kashani, Optometrist, welcomes you and his team from Tuesday to Saturday in his downtown boutique. Over 90 years ago, this historic building housed the “Galeries du Léman”, then the “Opticien Francioli”, known as Pope Pius XII’s optician, which later became “Francioli Sa Optique & Photographe” and finally “Lunetterie du Léman SA” in 1963.

And so, for several decades now, this commercial building has been home to a business dedicated exclusively to optics. Since then, “la lunetterie du Léman SA” has been offering a full range of optical, eyewear and hearing care services.

“La Lunetterie du Léman SA” is also a story of passing on know-how. In fact, the current owner did his apprenticeship in the store on behalf of Mr. Meister, who had himself taken over the business in 1981 from Mr. Rufenacht. Mr. Francioli apprenticed with him.

Passion, know-how and precision are the watchwords of this renowned Vevey business.
